The second meeting of the Joint Cooperation Working Group for Exploration and Production (E&P) companies will be held at the Secretariat of the Iranian E&P Companies Assembly on Thursday, 22nd Khordad.
According to the Public Relations report, during the sixteenth meeting of the Iranian E&P Companies Assembly, the proposal for establishing consortium companies was presented by Ahmad Ghalehban, the CEO of Global Petro Tech Kish. The members of the Assembly’s executive board agreed and selected Gholamhossein Zormand as the secretary of this working group. The second meeting of the Joint Cooperation Working Group will be hosted by Pasargad Energy Development Company and will be attended by CEOs and experts in technical/engineering, legal/contractual, and financial-economic fields from 16 Iranian E&P companies. Bahman Saroushi, the Deputy for Business Development, and Gholamhossein Zormand, the Advisor to the CEO in the Exploration and Production area at Global Petro Tech Kish, will also be present.
It is worth mentioning that the purpose of this working group is to examine the methods of companies’ cooperation through consortia or joint ventures. It will also review and develop relevant regulations and guidelines, as well as financial/economic and legal/contractual aspects, governance, and implementation between companies for the development of an oil, gas, and exploration field.
